Empowering Tomorrow’s Scientists: ModuleSci Demonstrates PV-100 Capabilities at UNIST Physics Festival

ULSAN, SOUTH KOREA — August 22, 2023 — Innovation begins with curiosity. To spark that curiosity, ModuleSci brought its advanced imaging technology to the campus of Ulsan Institute of Science and Technology (UNIST) for the annual Physics Festival, engaging with an ambitious group of middle and high school students.

The event focused on making complex physics accessible. ModuleSci took center stage by providing students with hands-on access to the PicoVision PV-100 Tabletop SEM. Unlike traditional lectures, this session allowed students to move beyond textbooks and directly explore the micro-world.

Key Highlights of the Workshop:
● Real-time Nano-Imaging
: Students utilized the PV-100 to resolve the intricate microstructures of biological and material samples, experiencing the power of electron microscopy firsthand.
● Theory in Action: ModuleSci technical experts simplified the principles of electron optics, demonstrating how beam technology translates into high-definition visualization.
● Inspiring Future Talent: The "great response" from the young participants highlighted the PV-100’s intuitive interface, proving that professional-grade research tools can be powerful yet accessible.

"At ModuleSci, we believe that high-performance microscopy should not be confined to high-end research facilities alone," the team stated. "By bringing the PV-100 to UNIST, we aimed to show these future scientists that the tools to solve tomorrow's challenges are already within their reach."

Through its commitment to scientific outreach, ModuleSci continues to strengthen its role as a key contributor to the South Korean scientific community and a leader in accessible microscopy solutions.
